Elena & Jonas' Blue Hydrangea Wedding in Fujairah for 300 Guests

For this 300-guest Fujairah wedding, MoreLess Events built the creative direction around cool blue hydrangea, white architectural forms and reflective surfaces. The concept was designed to feel crisp and contemporary against the mountain landscape.

THE STORY

The design language deliberately avoided a conventional floral arch. Instead, a sequence of portals, curved walls and circular openings created a ceremonial route. Blue hydrangea travelled through the architecture like a continuous line, connecting the entrance, aisle, stage and dining elements.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

MoreLess Events developed the concept from a controlled moodboard into a spatial system. Each shape had a role: arches framed views, round elements created pauses, and mirrored surfaces multiplied the blue palette. The design was reviewed not only as a front-facing backdrop but as an environment guests would move through and experience from several directions.

PLANNING FOR 300 GUESTS

At this scale, clarity matters. Long-table and ceremony layouts were planned to keep the colour story continuous while preserving movement and service routes. Low floral runs maintained sightlines, and the repeating architectural forms made the project recognisable even from a distance. Crystal details and reflective flooring introduced light without adding another colour.

WHY THIS PROJECT IS DIFFERENT

The personality of this wedding came from the tension between order and softness: disciplined white geometry, overflowing blue hydrangea and transparent detail. That contrast gave the event a strong identity without relying on ornate styling.
